All can include your choice of text, and some can include images (like the buttons you see in our menu bar at the top of this webpage). Also, there is a difference in copyright ownership and price between the standard and proprietary buttons.   Standard: Standard custom buttons may be any size, but must be in a current Ace Icons buttons style. They may be in a new color, if needed. They may optionally contain text in either the flat/plain or shadowed style. If they contain text, the text must be in a standard Windows font. Standard custom buttons cost $15 USD.   Standard+Image: Standard custom buttons with an image may be any size, but must be in a current Ace Icons buttons style. They can include any image from a current Ace Icons set. They may be in a new color, if needed. They may optionally contain text in either the flat/plain or shadowed style. If they contain text, the text must be in a standard Windows font. Standard+image custom buttons cost $35 USD.   Proprietary: Proprietary custom buttons may be any size, and may be in an unusual or non-standard shape. These buttons may optionally include any image from a current Ace Icons set, or a new image. They may be in a new color, if needed. They may optionally contain text in either the flat/plain or shadowed style. If they contain text, the text can be in a standard Windows font or another true-type font. If another font is used, but customer must provide a copy of the font to Ace Icons for use in creating the buttons. Proprietary custom buttons cost $55 USD.   Custom Backgrounds    Any graphic format Starting at only $35   You have your choice of two different types of custom backgrounds, standard and proprietary. While the work done may the same for both, there is a difference in copyright ownership and price.   Standard: Standard custom backgrounds could be new background images to match an existing Ace Icons set, or our standard background images in a new color, or an all-new background image in a new color. We keep the copyright to these images, and reserve the right to include them in future Ace Icons sets. Standard custom backgrounds cost $35 USD.   Proprietary: Proprietary custom backgrounds typically contain a logo or some other proprietary image or text. They can be in any color, with any design. The customer keeps the copyright to these images, and they will not be included in any future Ace Icons sets. Proprietary custom backgrounds cost $85 USD.     New Colors Starting at only $35   We can create a custom color background to use in your icons, buttons and backgrounds. Custom color backgrounds can actually include more than one color, such as a striped image, or a different border, or a subtle pattern, etc.   Standard: It costs $35 USD to create a standard color image, where we keep the rights to the new color image, and we may use the new color image in future Ace Icons sets.   Proprietary: It costs $85 USD to create a Proprietary color image, where you keep the rights to the new color image, and we will not use this color image in any future Ace Icons sets.   Once a new color image is created, you can use it in your custom icons, or we can convert an existing Ace Icons set to the new color for you. It costs $350 USD to convert the Ace Icons Base Set to a new background color, and $250 USD to convert an Ace Icons specialty icon set to a new color.     How to order custom items   First, send us an email and describe what you want or need. Someone at Ace Icons will review your email, contact you with any questions, and make certain that we understand what you want and can provide the work requested within a reasonable time frame.   When that is done, you will be emailed a link to our custom work order form. If you would like to have the custom work done, you may place an order using your credit card. Please be aware, 100% of the custom order amount is due in advance, and your credit card will be charged immediately upon placing your order.   Our credit card processing company will notify us when the order has been placed. We'll begin work on your custom items soon thereafter, and they will be emailed to you when completed.     Other custom design options   If we are not able to fill your custom design needs at Ace Icons, we would like to recommend Mr. Jesus Moreno at 1st Logo Design (www.1stlogodesign.com).
